JOB: IT Manager at Dataway Limited Abuja

POSITION: IT Manager
LOCATION: Abuja, Nigeria
REPORTS TO: CEO

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Manager will manage the IT team and will require hands-on involvement in all activities and responsibilities of the company. Work closely with internal and external customers as well as with vendors and IT service providers. This position will manage new products and projects for the company and her partners.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
  • Provide support to business system users. Analyze programs to discover and resolve issues. Lead special and large projects as required. Work with business users to determine requirements. Use analysis and design skills to produce solutions to solve business problems. 
  • Will be doing project management and some business analysis work
  • Will be working with resources from the business and IT to plan, design, develop, test and deploy the solutions.
  • Work with different Operating systems platforms.
  • Manage staffing, including recruitment, supervision, scheduling, development, and evaluation, of IT personnel.
  • Assist in the provisioning of end-user services, including help desk and technical support services. 
  • Works with user to identify the user's need.
  • Delivers quality systems solutions to business problems.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 5 or more years of relevant IT experience.
  • 2 or more years' experience in a supervisory role.
  • Bachelor's degree required in computer science or a related business field.
  • Experience with Windows, Windows server, Redhat Enterprise server, CentOS and different other Operating Systems
  • Ability to create/manage data cubes/warehouse
  • Proficient at researching/searching for IT solutions to resolve problems in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem solving skills.
  • Ability and interest in working in a fast-paced environment which requires switching between high end and low-end technical support
  • High levels of energy, motivation to accomplish goals and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate and influence at multiple levels in the organization.
